Hi, I'm a freelance illustrator from Bochum/Germany. Since 2012, I've illustrated many German and international games and books for clients like Paizo and Alderac, among others. I use traditional media and a variety of digital tools to create vibrant fantasy art and deliver printable files for any purpose. I do not use generative AI, as it's ethically and legally questionable.
Book covers
Books do get judged by their
cover - that's why the saying exists. An eye-catching cover illustration that represents the book's content well lets your book stand out from the crowd and be found by readers who will love it.
From the first concept to a printable pdf, if needed, I create custom, hand painted front and wraparound book covers for authors and publishers.
TTRPG illustration
From simple items over character art to complex scenes - I've made countless
illustrations for Pathfinder and illustrated the majority of the award-winning German RPG "Seelenfänger."
Board game illustration and layout
I made the entire graphic design and art content for a complex
board game called "Euborea", which was funded on Kickstarter and published in 2022. Making art for a board game isn't just about the aesthetics - it also helps the players to intuitively understand what's going on. It requires a deep understanding of the game's mechanics and the technical requirements of the game's production.
